The Global Studies concentration provides a broad-based, interdisciplinary perspective on contemporary global issues. This concentration combines courses in multiple world regions, themes, and disciplines to give you the tools to understand and address complex world problems.
Concentration Content
- The International Studies core requirements
- At least three years of a European language - or two years of two languages
- A course in general European history
- At least one course in all of the following subjects: anthropology, geography, political science, and economics
- Eight courses in the following topic areas:
- History and Politics of Europe
- The Thought and Cultures of Europe
- International Studies
Presently, there are several European languages offered at Colorado State University, but other languages could be studied in study abroad programs with approval of your advisor for this major.
