- Top UK Graduate Awards Info Session: Wednesday, April 15 in TILT 222 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm
The United Kingdom has most prestigious institutions of higher education in the world. For more than a century, Oxford, Cambridge, the London School of Economics and the UCL system have been favorite destinations of study for future leaders such as Bill Clinton, Colin Powell, and CSU’s very own Chris Counts. Come and learn More about the Marshall, Mitchell, Gates-Cambridge, and Rhodes Scholarships as well as the UK Partnership Grants.
- Fulbright U.S. Student Program Information Session: Monday, April 20 in Clark A101 from 12pm to 1pm
The Fulbright Program U.S. Student program is the United States’ flagship international educational exchange program. More than 100,000 U.S. students have undertaken grants for study and research or teaching abroad since the program began in 1948. Lauren Meager, a CSU student who has recently completed a Fulbright in Nepal, will share her experience.
- NSF-GRFP Information Session: Thursday, April 30 in TILT 222 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm
The NSR-GRFP provides fellowships for graduate study in fields within NSF’s mission. Undergraduate seniors, first-year and second-year graduate students are all eligible to apply. Sarah DeLozier, a CSU graduate student and NSF-GRFP awardee will present on the award.

- INST 487: International Studies Internship

International Studies is seeking an advanced undergraduate student to provide administrative support for the program. Responsibilities may include: compiling and analyzing data, editing newsletters and mailings, coordinating events, research, development, marketing, and recruitment, according to the student’s interest and experience.
Desired skills and qualifications: Writing, editing, interpersonal relations, time management, willingness to learn. Experience with graphic editing preferred. International Studies majors preferred.
- INST 495: Independent Study—Commodities
One credit. Fall 2015.
The International Studies Program is seeking an advanced undergraduate student to conduct research on the subject of global commodities. This independent study aims to develop new International Studies curriculum. It will be overseen by Program Director Andrea Williams.
The ideal candidate is an International Studies major with a strong academic record and demonstrated research and writing skills, who is self-motivated, interested in pedagogy, and keen to learn more about this subject.

Message from Tomas Pickering, CSU’s Peace Corps Rep.: I am looking for interested CSU students to participate in the Peace Corps Ambassadors Internship program for the 2015 – 2016 academic year. Please take a look at the attached job description and consider applying through the online link in this email. Basically, in this position you work with me to help provide information about Peace Corps and in return I’ll help support you in your application to Peace Corps with a letter of recommendation. It doesn’t guarantee you’ll be accepted but it does increase your odds significantly.
